New Music Friday Playlist – March 22, 2019
On the docket this week: the new albums by Americana rocker Strand of Oaks (who’s song “Weird Ways” is already a favorite of 2019) and folk goddess Jenny Lewis. There’s also a new EP from buzzed about duo Flora Cash, of “You’re Somebody Else” fame.
There are great new songs for all tastes as well: upbeat pop from Fitz & the Tantrums, with their latest single; rap from socially conscious wordsmith Logic; classic piano rock from Bruce Hornsby; spacey indie from Tame Impala; the return of Iron & Wine and Calexico‘s folksy collaboration; alternative from Foster the People; and even a new single by power poppers The Remembrandts (the guys who did the Friends theme song)!
As always, listen below, or follow this week’s New Music Friday Playlist!
