New Music Friday Playlist – July 26, 2019

July is going out with a bang on the music front, loading us with a rich feast of new audible pleasures. Bryce Vine‘s latest is sure to be a summer smash. I’ve been following Vine since his debut EP, and it’s been wonderful to see how far he’s come. Equally good summer listening will be coming from 90’s veterans Sugar Ray, who drop their first new album in a decade. Former Check This band Dude York have released their new LP, after pre-releasing three great singles. We’ll also be spinning the new full-length from rapper Skizzy Mars, and Icelandic folk rock group Of Monsters and Men.

In singles, we get the first taste from the upcoming albums of Third Ey Blind and Tegan & Sara. There’s also the fourth single from blink-182‘s just announced new album Nine, a slamming new track from DJ Shadow, and a jam from electro-rock duo Fitness. The 1975 have also dropped a musically-accompanied call-to-action about the climate crisis that will hopefully get all their fans listening.

Check all these out and more on our NMF Playlist at the top of the page.
