Minus the crossover success of Phoenix, there has been nary a peep from the alternative rock/pop punk scene of Europe here in the states, but don’t let that fool you. These groups are ever-present, and all one need to is check out Back on Earth.
Formed in 2009, the group plays a more anthemic style of melodic pop punk, reminiscent of early 2000’s emo groups like Jimmy Eat World, The Dangerous Summer and Acceptance.
