New Music Friday Playlist – November 15, 2019
Can you believe the month is half over? And that means only two more weeks of new music to consider for our Best of 2019 lists! Here’s what’s trying to eek its way into consideration this week.
In albums, we’ll be spinning the latest from DJ Shadow, who has already gotten a decent amount of play on our list this year with his single “Rocket Fuel”, featuring De La Soul. The new album from Chadwick Stokes & the Pintos, which we recently reviewed, also is out today. There’s also an EP of Neil Young covers from first-time collaborators Jeff Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson.
The single front brings us new music from indie rockers Wolf Parade, as well as another Pharrell-assisted single from Beck. Neon Trees have released their first single in five years, and Marshmello is back in the alternative space, collaborating with Yungblud and Blackbear.
All of this as well as new tracks from Modest Mouse, Rod Stewart, Mt. Joy, Jake Bugg and a slew more. Sample below, and follow the full playlist from the link at the top.
