Formed at the tail-end of the 1980’s, Canada’s Headstones have become a hard rock/punk institution in their native country over their thirty years together. Despite line-up changes and a natural evolution in their sound, the group has maintained a steady output, also helped by lead singer Hugh Dillon gaining fame as an actor as well.
Their latest single, “Horses” opens with a dirty guitar riff, with Dillon jumping in with a bluesy speak/sing assault. The chorus swaggers in with infectious punk rock attitude that’s pure head banging goodness.
