It’s a heavy New Music Friday today, which only means there’s plenty of new tunes to check out as the quarantine continues.

Two 90’s acts are dropping new albums today; Fiona Apple is back with her first LP in eight years, and rockers Soul Asylum are releasing their new album one day after frontman David Pirner’s birthday (belated Happy Birthday!). Buzzed about Scottish songwriter Gerry Cinnamon releases his second album, and dark Americana artist The White Buffalo has a new one out. Lastly we have UK electro punks Enter Shikari sharing their new collection of bangers. SoCal alternative hitmakers Incubus have a new EP out today, which I know will make many folks I grew up with happy.

In singles, we get the long-awaited return of The Streets, with a feature from Tame Impala on their latest. “Dirt emo” songwriter Ruston Kelly surprised with a new song, as did alt. rapper Kid Cudi. The Pretenders shared the third single from their upcoming album, and Angels & Airwaves dropped a new single to raise money for charity.

There’s also new drops from A Day to Remember, Norah Jones, Pepper, Airborne Toxic Event, Girl in Red, Joji, Loudon Wainwright III, The Used, Florence + the Machine and Powfu.

Find these and plenty more in the full New Music Friday Playlist below:
