Artist: Glenn Thomas

Song: “All You Can Do”

Album: Reassure Me There’s A Window

Genre: Folk, Americana

Label: Palace Flophouse Records

Nashville artist, Glenn Thomas, has just released the latest single off of his upcoming album, Reassure Me There’s A Window. Written the morning after a rambunctious New Year’s Eve, “All You Can Do” focuses on just accepting the way that things are, and doing what you can with the circumstances you are dealt – “So say one for me and I’ll say one for you. Cheers to trying to make it through” – A sentiment I believe we can all relate to.

Filled with many layered melodics from guitar, strings, piano, steel guitar, and gentle percussion – this song has a very relaxing and filling sound. From the very first notes you can tell that the song is going to grab you and draw you in. The use of strings in “All You Can Do” really help the full emotion of the song bleed through. It is definitely the perfect mood for the present.

Glenn Thomas provides a classic country sound mixed with more modern folk music aspects, and a lot of symphonic notes as well. The album combines Glenn‘s talents with so many other talented and celebrated musicians, as well as a wide array of instruments…

“The album, recorded in Nashville, was produced by Jordan Lehning (Andrew Combs, Rodney Corwell), and features session players like Old Crow Medicine Show’s Charlie Worsham on mandolin, legendary harmonica genius Charlie McCoy, Spencer Cullum (Kesha, Miranda Lambert), and Austin Hoke (Dolly Parton, Cage The Elephant) on cello and, wait for it…singing saw.”

The full album is due for release on May 15th, 2020. Check out “All You Can Do” now on our Check This 2020 playlist:
