It’s another crowded list this week with enough new music for the entire next week! Two big releases this week: the funky new one from St. Vincent, and the latest from superstar rapper J. Cole. Expect that last one to be platinum before 2022. Singer-songwriters Juliana Hatfield and Damien Jurado will definitely appeal to any of you who enjoy great songcraft, and the debut from alt rock/reggae artist Denm will give you those classic summer Sublime vibes.
The rampage of 90’s rockers making a return this year continues as Sleater Kinney come back with their first new single in many years. R&B artists Macy Gray has a new track, and keeping that female power going, we have the third new song from Liz Phair! Some other big acts that are back with new tunes this week are Bryce Vine, Judah & the Lion, Elton John, Surfaces and the return of The Vaccines!
Some popular indie artists we love here who have new songs out today: The Mountain Goats, The Go! Team, Son Volt, Hot Mulligan, Superlove, girlfriends and De’Wayne. We’ve got some soul from Durand Jones and the Indications, and some crazy hybrid music from Skirllex, Swae Lee and Siiickbrain.
