After a lighter couple weeks, we’re back with a New Music Friday chock-full of new albums and tunes to listen to! The albums that will probably be getting the most hype today are the new ones from Halsey (produced by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross), Big Red Machine (featuring a number of starry guests, including Taylor Swift) and the new one from UK synth rockers CHVRCHES! We’ve got the new one from critically loved hardcore band Turnstile, 90’s platinum alt rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket have their first full length in ages, and lastly, we very much recommend you listen to the new album from Bob Schneider (read our review of it here).
Gorillaz have dropped a surprise new EP featuring various guests, and Kacey Musgraves has released the first single from her next album, and it shows her taking her music in a whole new direction. Folk rockers My Morning Jacket announced their first new album in years and released a new single to get the hype going. Another band that’s in the midst of a return are 90’s indie act The Connells, who are dropping the third song from their upcoming album. There’s also new ones from The Vaccines, Jasiah, Charley Crockett, Courtney Barnett, Lifehouse and Joyner Lucas.
Sigrid has a new pop banger out, Some of the new artists we’ve got for you today are Geese, King Park, Parliamo, Willow Kayne, Ross Cooper, Scott Fisher and Elke!
