So often we all get caught up in the world of “pop” music (this includes pop, rock, country, rap, etc), that we separate it from classical music in our minds, and often forget that there is still new and often wonderful pieces of music being composed outside of the pop world.
Music industry insider Nicole Sanzio brings us a great reminder of what gorgeous Neo-classical music can sound like. Her debut single, the piano-driven “In Transit”, is both inspired by Sanzio’s personal journeys, as well as simply the process of completing the project. Composed by her and engineered by Phillip Lewis, it’s a soft and elegant piece of music.
