What can any of us say that would do justice to the mega-talent the world lost yesterday? Tina Turner was dubbed “the Queen of Rock n’ Roll” and no one would dare counter otherwise. Her voice could run the range from pop to R&B to soul to rock, and she was the type of performer that every and any rock idolized. Mick Jagger took a cue from her.
There are of course many iconic songs in her catalog. Today, throwback to any and all of them. Long live the Queen.
