Alt-Pop icon Chloe Star is back with her second music video this year for her single “call you back,” which came out in February 2026. This music video is one of the coolest I’ve seen in awhile, playing out like a murder mystery short film with stunts, dance, and attitude you definitely don’t want to miss. The music video tells the story of Chloe Star being cheated on and the chaotic events that happened around it.
Chloe Star states: “The ‘call you back’ music video closely reflects the meaning of the song. It follows the moment I walk in on my girlfriend cheating, and the emotional spiral that follows. We had so much fun bringing it to life, working alongside incredibly talented creatives and stunt performers. The video captures the pain and intensity that comes with betrayal.”
The video starts by reversing all the events that transpired and Chloe is singing in the back of a police car. The video then finds her being investigated by detectives at the scene of the crime. It has incredible “freeze frame” moments that really pull you in, as well as the cop shaking his ass in the front of the police car. You think she’s going to run away from the cops but SURPRISE there’s a sick dance break. The outro moment is truly such a serve as well; “He smells like body spray and 3-in-1 cheap ass shampoo” like OKAY girl!!
