Thankfully there are songwriters like Alana Moses who can turn these secret anguishes into loud, angry rock bangers!
Moses’ most recent single “UGLY!” finds her channeling all of these feelings and personal emotions into a raw, angry and cathartic track that is made to unite a crowd of outcasts in glorious fashion. With the chorus “You said I was ugly!” sang with a pissed-off attitude, that eventually turns into a self-affirming “Until I saw the ugly was in you,” Moses takes you through from the stage of hurt into the world of self-acceptance and inner-strength.
