We’re in the heights of spooky season, but there’s nothing scary about the quality of this week’s new releases!
After surviving a stroke, Michael Kiwanuka is on the mend and has his latest soulful collection out, and jam-inspired pop rock band O.A.R. are looking back at their career in their new album. New act Baby Snakes and the Electric Co have their electrifying new album out (read our review here) and veteran artist Hector Gannet certainly impressed our writer with his new album (read the review here).
Beloved rock troubadour John Mayer is making his full return (outside of numerous features) with his first solo song in a number of years. MxPx are stirring up an excited ‘panic’ with the first single from their upcoming 12th album, and UK indie stars Hot Chip are back with their long-awaited new single. We’ve got another b-side from The Rolling Stones, and a catchy ska bop from Less Than Jake. There’s a heart-wrenching new one from Adeem the Artist, and the first new song from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in six years. We’ve got the lovely title track from Lake Street Drive‘s new album, and Spanish Love Songs welcoming us to Hell.
We’ve also brought back That Old Quiet Lighthouse, Jeremy Tuplin, Love Ghost, INK, Jack’s Maze, Edens, Liily, Emmalee Rainbow, After Elmer, Caroline Rose, Tres Kings, Isabel Dumaa, TELL, Junior VP, Marfa, Ali Todd, The Darién Gap, Rosina Cove, Integra Pink, San Gabriel, Andy Tongren, Fog Lake, honestav, O.A.R., Jakobs Castle, The Temper Trap, Nicotine Dolls, Syd Sidney, Andy Frasco & the U.N., Donovan Woods, Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners and HAFFWAY with their new songs out this week.
