And so August ends, and the fall season begins with a ton of new albums. Taking us into the colder days will be the full-length debut from Australian musical ingenue Tash Sultana. She played every instrument on the album, which should prove to be an eclectic affair.
Macabre pop-punk veterans Alkaline Trio have released their latest opus, as has English troubadour Passenger, Brit-poppers The Kooks, and the Justin Vernon/Aaron Dessner collaboration Big Red Machine.
All of this, and Eminem decided to drop a surprise album. Whaaaaa?
Another well-known folk star, Iron & Wine, has released a new EP, and we get a new single from the similar-sounding William Fitzsimmons. Other new track highlights include Laura Jane Grace‘s (Against Me!) new project, a new single from Muse, and the first new songs from Razorlight in 10 years. There are a lot of Brit’s on today’s list!
Check all these out and more below. Happy listening.
