So as August is winding down, The Indy Review is going to take a week-long hiatus to recharge our batteries, so this will be the final New Music Friday of this month – but don’t worry – it’s a good one.
In albums, we are going to keep it light and put into rotation the debut record from rapper Vic Mensa‘s punk rock side-project; 93Punx. Featuring guests like Travis Barker and Good Charlotte, it should be an interesting listen.
Lana Del Rey has dropped two new songs from her upcoming album Norman Fucking Rockwell, and First Aid Kit released a 2-song tribute to the late David Berman. Incubus have come back with a surprise new single, and blink-182 released an official recording of their mash-up with Lil Wayne from their recent tour.
