Happy New Music Friday everyone! Today we finally get the long-awaited new album from Bay-area pop punk legends Green Day, taking their sound in a more classic rock/soul direction. Also coming in today is the latest from indie pop rock vets Nada Surf, and sardonic punks Spanish Love Songs. There are two noteworthy EPs to check out today as well – the first half of the new solo album from Paramore‘s Hayley Williams, and the collaboration between Leon Bridges and Khruangbin.
Some of the new songs we’ll be spinning this week include drops from songstress Sharon Van Etten, pop-rock group Rags and Riches, summery rockers Best Coast, dance pop maven Dagny, classic songwriter James Taylor, Spanish rockers Hinds, rapper Joyner Lucas, indie darlings Christine and the Queens, and screamo heroes The Used.
