So what do we have on the plate for you this week in the music world? Well, we’re thinking you should start this week with the latest album from singer/songwriter/producer Butch Walker, a rock opera called American Love Story. Next, you should try out the debut full-length from punk rock supergroup Fake Names, featuring members of Bad Religion and The Refused. After dropping the first two parts of her Petals for Armor album, Hayley Williams has dropped the third and final part of solo debut. There’s also two new EPs from notable rock groups The Kooks and Tijuana Panthers.
Some of the new singles out this week that are making waves are the new ones from pop queen Sia, alternative kings Weezer, indie rockers Cold War Kids (with help from a member of the Lumineers), UK rapper The Streets, animated Gorillaz, hip-pop wunderkind Bryce Vine, and folk troubadour Ray LaMontagne.
There’s also a number of new singles from artists featured here on The Indy Review previously; folk duo Moscow Apartment, soul rockers Los Coast, indie Aussie band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, and retro group Wargirl.
