The year is winding down and with it the release calendar, which personally I’m fine with as we have been given more than enough great music to listen to from this year already. But, there are certainly some new albums and tracks that should not be overlooked today.
The first is the latest from UK rock band The Cribs. Been listening to them since their first release so excited to hear what new tunes they have in store. We also are getting the final posthumous release from The Outfield‘s Tony Lewis.
Bleachers is back with two new songs, one featuring the Jersey king himself Bruce Springsteen. Speaking of collaborations, indie upstart KennyHoopla has dropped a new jam with Travis Barker, and The Night Game has released a new song featuring Elle King. Then there’s the second track from Anti-Flag featuring a ton of guests on it.
There’s definitely a punk edge to a lot of the new music today; riotous new tracks from Cloud Nothings, Red City Radio, Less Than Jake and Bayside will be filling out playlist, as well as some new indie tunes from Heart of Gold and Run River North. There’s also some great female energy from Ani DiFranco and girl in red.
