Swiss goth rock n’ roll band Hell Boulevard tackle hard rock from a number of angles, melding industrial, metal, death metal and bringing an operatic ambition to their songwriting. The group released their first single in 2014, and have been steadily releasing new music since.
One of their latest singles, “Not Sorry”, recalls the heyday of eighties hard rock. The chugging drums and industrial guitar riffage burn hot and heavy like early Rob Zombie, while the dramatic vocals carry an 80’s flair that venture from raging roars to melodic hooks. Even when the track is hitting the hardest, its shout-along chorus still pulls you in with its emotional catharsis.
