New Music Friday – November 26, 2021

And so we have come to the last New Music Friday of November (and also the last week of new music that we count towards 2021 before doing our EOY lists). Being that it’s Thanksgiving week, the amount of releases is lighter but what’s out is no less worthy of your time.

We have two quality releases for fans of traditional rock n’ roll. First is the latest from guitar slinger Dan Sartain, who brings the old school rockabilly vibes. Second, we have the new one from power pop maestro Ryan Hamilton (see our review of his latest album here). Both should provide you with some high energy music for your holiday weekend. We’ve also got the debut EP from recent World Watch artists Blush, and a new one from Zebrahead.

In songs, we have a new one from UK post-punk band Bloc Party, who have been away for a minute. Eels have a new garage rock tune, and early oughts emo band Daphne Loves Derby are back with a new song. There’s a new moving track from Donovan Woods, and a fun new one from Lime Cordiale. Rounding these out are new ones from Rat Boy, MxPx, Lifehouse and Frank Turner.

Some of the new artists we’re spinning this week are Harriette, Art Napoleon, Little Victories, Oceanator, HjNX and Moonwood.

Hear all of these and more in our New Music Friday Playlist!
