Any fan of comedy or comedians has been shaken by the unexpected death this week of the great Bob Saget. Whether you were an early fan of him from FULL HOUSE or AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, or followed his much more R-rated stand-up career, including his bits in THE ARISTOCRATS or his directorial debut DIRTY WORK, there really isn’t anyone who has a bad thing to say about the man.
What few people may remember is his brief foray into rap, with his feature on Jamie Kennedy‘s funny and reverential 2006 single “Rollin’ w/ Saget”. Over an old school hip hop beat, Kennedy raps a wild narrative of a night “rolling” with Bob Saget. Fights break out, girls are enamored, and rap beefs are started.
And of course, Saget gets to drop some mad flow, with lyrics like “I got a cock like a donkey, hard as a rock. And a trigger finger itchier than chicken pox”. It truly pays proper homage to the man, who while apparently one of the kindest, nicest humans in real life, could be a foul-mouthed, filthy m***erF**ker when working.
