New Music Friday – February 11, 2022

We’ve got a heavy release day today, with some of the biggest names in indie rock as well as a few other well known artists dropping their latest endeavors!

Frank Turner is back with one of his most punk offerings in years, while Eddie Vedder has his latest solo album that is a far more rocking affair than previous outings. Dan Andriano‘s new solo album with the bygones will please any fan of Alkaline Trio. Indie all-stars Spoon, Alt-J and Big Thief all have new full lengths out today, and Yellowcard‘s William Ryan Key has his latest solo EP dropping.

With the first proper single from their next album, alternative band Portugal. The Man are back and hoping to invade the airwaves again. Pop-punkers Audio Karate are making a return with two new songs, and recent Check This artist Don McCloskey has his latest folksy bop for you. Duran Duran are keeping their productive streak going with a new track, and Superchunk have gotten a little assistance from R.E.M.‘s Mike Mills on their new track.

We’ve also got the latest tracks from Eve 6, Lucius, Sometimes Y, The Wrecks, Vance Joy, Mary J. Blige, The Head and the Heart, Jack White & Foals. The new artists getting spins this week are Sadurn, Thomas Dollbaum, Needshes, Theo Kandell, Bronte Fall, Fangz and Elijah Mann.
