Well September went quickly, didn’t it? And what a month for new music! And even as it ends, there are still some great albums from prominent indie acts getting delivered to us. First is the latest from art punks Yeah Yeah Yeahs (who we’ll be seeing live next week!). Alt rock legends Pixies have their latest album out, and raucous, literary punks Titus Andronicus‘ new one is a return to form. We’ll be enjoying the latest from electronic-tinged indie group The Big Pink, and finally we’ve got a new EP from acclaimed songwriter Dan Wilson.

After five years, Paramore have returned with the first single from their new album, expected to come out next year. Their former Warped Tour tourmates NOFX, after announcing the impending dissolution of their group, have dropped the first song from their next double album, Double Album. Giovannie and the Hired Guns have their next single out, with their new album now dropping at the end of next month. You can also enjoy the latest preview track from Tegan and Sara‘s next album, also coming next month.
Recent Bad Ass Break-Outs Dazy have released the first single from their debut LP, and Fitz and the Tantrums have the second single from their next one. Arctic Monkeys unveil the second single from their upcoming new album, and Bruce Springsteen debuts the first song from his upcoming album of classic soul covers.
More new tunes from The Go! Team, Ryan Hamilton, Surf Curse, The Maine, American Authors, Ada Marques, Baby Queen, Meet Me at the Altar and Me Like Bees are gracing our list once again. And who will you be hearing for the first time on the list this week? It will be Popsiclestickairport, Cimafunk, Iglu & Hartley, The Zew, Bring the Hoax, Lucius Malcolm, Kue Varo, Pony Bradshaw and Mazey Haze.
