New Music Friday: November 11, 2022

As we crawl closer and closer to the end of the year, it’s hard to believe there are still more new releases to look forward to this year. I know I’m already getting into End of the Year mode, but these albums and songs aren’t ones to pass over.

The legend Bruce Springsteen has a new album out of classic soul covers that should warm the hearts this holiday, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, new screamo supergroup L.S. Dunes has their debut out. The great soul duo The War and Treaty have dropped a surprise EP, we have the new EP from South African indie rockers Beatenberg and a new one from punk-inspired folk artist Tim Barry.

Southern rockers Lucero have dropped the second song from their next album, and New Found Glory have the first track from an upcoming acoustic album. Runnner keeps on releasing great indie folk tunes we have to include, and Fleet Foxes have a beautiful new track from the upcoming documentary WILDCAT to hear. Manchester Orchestra have a new song out, and Wicked Bears are back with a ska-tinged new one.

Other familiar names with new music out today include Dave Hause, Pierce the Veil, Futuristic, Zebrahead, Zach Bryan and Hozier. And as always, there’s still newer artists we’ve discovered with new tracks that we’ve included for the first time on the list this week, including MF Tomlinson, The Veils, Sylo, Soul Blind, Blair Lee, Mark Erelli, Mae Mae and Sparxsea.

Hear them all plus more in our New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify or Apple Music!
