We did it folks – we survived 2022! This is our final New Music Friday post of the year before we go into hibernation with hot chocolate and cookies. And while we know you’re all about to dive into holiday music mode, there are still some new songs that came out this week we want to leave you with before the holidays start.
Fidlar have a new 3 song EP out, following a few prior single releases this year. Punk godfather Iggy Pop has his new album coming out at the top of the year, and you can hear the second single from it today. We also got new pop-punk from New Found Glory and Bayside, along with some fine alt rock from Maneskin, Lincoln, Wallows and Stroke 9. Butch Walker is joined by Elizabeth Cook and Katie Pruitt for a Jim Croce cover,
We loved Brian Dunne‘s last album of thoughtful folk pop, so happy to present his latest single here for you. And joining our list for the first time are Neil Leyton, 93feetofsmoke, Leon Thomas, Coleman Jennings and the Roaddogs, Distant Cousins, Fox Revett and Laila Kharouba, Maybe Tomorrow and Eric Sleeper.
You can hear all of these and more in our New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify or Apple Music. Also, if you haven’t indulged yet, please check out our Top Albums and Top Songs of 2022, and discover some of the great releases you might have missed this last year.
Finally, thank you all for coming to our site the last year and continuing our music discovery journeys. Wishing you all a very happy holidays and new year, and we look forward to bringing more new artists and music to you in 2023.
