We’re midway through the month, and here are the musical goodies we’ve got for you to kick off your St. Patrick’s Day with.
Producer/songwriter M83 has his latest opus of spacey, alt-electronica music to get lost to, and if you need to come back down to earth after that trip, the new album from hard rockers Theory of a Deadman should ground you in classic-sounding blues rock n’ roll. There’s a beautiful new folk-leaning record from Northcote, and if you want some tunes to pep up your mood, pop-punk stars All Time Low have their latest album, and we have the debut album by Tyson Ritter’s new band Now More Than Ever is out today!
There are some big returns in the single world this week; nineties alt rockers Matchbox Twenty have their first new song in eleven years. Punk-metal heroes Avenged Sevenfold dropped a huge new song along with an album and tour announcement, and classic folk singer/songwriter Yusuf (aka Cat Stevens) has a new single from his next album out.
Lana Del Rey has the third song from her next album for your listening pleasure, and we’ve got new songs from Joseph, Feist, Tash Sultana, Joy Oladokun and Charlotte Sands to add to that femme power. Samiam continue their new album tease with another great track, and Magnolia Park sprung another banger from the forthcoming deluxe version of their latest album. We always welcome new music from great songwriters like Dave Hause and Ruston Kelly, and up-and-comers like Trapper Schoepp. Also returning to our list this week are Snows of Yesteryear, Heart Attack Man, Bayside, Dreamers, Superlove and Fences.
Artists gracing our list for the first time this week are Amanda Stewart, Ben Krakauer, The Dirty Shirts, Broadside, Good Terms, American Trappist, Doug Paisley, Maggie Miles and The Dollyrots.
Check out all of these tunes and more in our New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify or Apple Music!
