This week, we’ll be spinning new albums from up-and-coming Australian band Yours Truly and Sundressed. We’ll also be trying out the debut full-length from up-and-coming alt. pop artist Gus Dapperton.
We’ve also got new EPs from American Authors (with some of their catchiest tracks in years) and the return of 90’s alt rockers Semisonic (see our review of their EP here).
It’s a good day for fans of indie rock and folk, cause some of the bigger names in that realm have dropped new singles today. We’ve got new ones from The Mountain Goats, Local Natives, Sufjan Stevens, Low Cut Connie, Future Islands and LANY. If you need something a little more punk, Rise Against are back with a new single to accompany a DC Comics series, and Yungblud put out a new track along with the announcement of his next album Weird (coming in November).
Busta Rhymes has a new single with Anderson .Paak, guitar virtuoso Kaki King provides her latest jam, and Brit rockers Maximo Park are back with their first new song in ages. We’re also pleased to include the latest tracks from previous Check This artists Hawksley Workman and Sol.
